§ 10.08.010. Abandoned refrigerator.

A.

No person shall allow any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight door, snap-lock or lock which may not be released for opening from the inside of such icebox, refrigerator or container to be placed on property under his or her control, without first removing the door, snap-lock or door hinges.

B.

A person who violates this section is guilty of a municipal infraction and is subject to a fine as established by resolution of the City Council.

C.

The Director of Planning and Zoning or the director's designee shall have the power to enforce the provisions of this section through the issuance of a municipal citation.
