§ 10.16.200. Other means of disposal.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary any resident of the City may donate or sell any recyclable material to any other person, whether operating for profit or not for profit; a person receiving the recyclable material shall not collect the donated or sold material from an established recycling collection route or from a recycling dropoff site without prior written permission from the City.

All solid waste or recyclable materials are the property of the City of Annapolis once collected from the curb side by authorized City personnel. Unauthorized removal of solid waste or recyclable materials placed at the curb for collection constitutes a municipal infraction subject to a fine authorized by resolution of the City Council.
