§ 11.40.010. Proclamation by Mayor.

  • Whenever the Mayor determines that a public emergency exists within the City pursuant to the definition of public emergency in Chapter 11.48 of this Code or for other reasons necessitating the imposition of a curfew, the Mayor shall proclaim publicly a curfew and shall proclaim the hours and days during which the curfew shall be effective. During a curfew, a person may not be or remain upon any street, alley, park, playground, wharf, dock or other public ground, public place or public building. Any person found guilty of a violation of this section is subject to a fine, or imprisonment, or both as established by resolution of the City Council.
