§ 12.08.130. Parking Coordinator.

  • Within the Department of Transportation there is established the position of Parking Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to facilitate the coordination and implementation of parking principles, policies, laws and regulations at the direction of the Director of Transportation. The Coordinator shall also assist the Parking Advisory Committee, serve as a liaison between the Transportation Board and the Parking Advisory Commission and arrange for the gathering of information about the number of motor vehicles of residents and other persons and parties and maintain an inventory of parking spaces for these vehicles. The Coordinator shall be appointed by the Director of Transportation and serve at the pleasure of the Director of Transportation. The Coordinator shall receive such compensation as is provided in the annual operating budget.
