§ 17.12.018. International Energy Conservation Code adopted.

    The International Energy Conservation Code, 2015 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is adopted as the Energy Code of the City of Annapolis for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of the building envelope, mechanical systems, and lighting and power systems in the City.

    B.

    In the event of any inconsistencies between the provisions of the Energy Code and the City Code, the more stringent shall govern. The Code Official shall have the authority to act on any matters when there is a discrepancy or when the codes are silent. In the event of any inconsistencies between the provisions of the Building Code and the City Code, the more stringent code shall govern. A copy of the International Energy Conservation Code is on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning.
