§ 17.44.130. Posting of unlicensed property.

A.

Upon suspension, revocation, denial, or expiration of a license, the director shall have the authority to cause notices to be posted on the property which shall state as follows:

OCCUPANCY OF ANY DWELLING UNIT IN THIS BUILDING NOW VACANT OR BECOMING VACANT IS UNLAWFUL UNTIL A LICENSE TO OPERATE HAS BEEN OBTAINED AND IS DISPLAYED ON THE PREMISES

B.

It is unlawful for any person to deface or remove that notice until a license has been obtained.
