§ 17.52.030. Enforcement—Violation—Penalties.

    The administration and enforcement of this chapter shall be the responsibility of the Department of Planning and Zoning.

    B.

    In case of a violation of this chapter, the Director of Planning and Zoning may issue an order requiring the developer or owner of the property to stop work or to take specified corrective measures to comply with the requirements of this chapter. If a developer or owner violates a stop work or corrective measures order issued pursuant to this subsection, the Director may revoke any permit relating to the work issued by the City or any of its departments.

    C.

    In addition to other penalties provided in this section, a person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a municipal infraction and is subject to a fine of five hundred dollars for any single, initial violation and a fine of five hundred dollars for each repeat or continuing violation. The failure of a developer or owner to comply with a correction measures order or a stop work order issued by the Director constitutes a single violation for each day that noncompliance continues.
