§ 7.44.020. Registration—Certificate.

  • Each applicant under this chapter who shows evidence of good character and receives approval of the Mayor shall pay a reasonable licensing fee as established by resolution of the City Council and shall be furnished a certificate indicating that the applicant has registered and showing the dates covered by the registration. The Mayor may seek a recommendation of the Chief of Police. The applicant may appeal from a denial of the application to the Boards of Appeals. Each person, at all times while soliciting or canvassing, shall carry the registration certificate, and the certificate shall be exhibited by the registrant whenever the registrant is required to do so by any Police Officer or by any person solicited.
