§ 7.40.060. License—Appeals.

  • If an application is denied, suspended, or revoked, the Department shall set forth the reasons in writing and a copy of the decision shall be provided to the applicant. The decision of the Department to grant, deny, suspend, or revoke any license under this chapter shall be final, unless a person aggrieved by the decision files a written appeal of the decision with the Building Board of Appeals within fifteen days after the date of the decision, setting forth the grounds of the appeal. The decision of the Department shall be reversed only upon a determination that the decision was arbitrary or capricious. The decision of the Department shall not be stayed by the filing of any appeal.
